Dr. Toor, founder and owner of Main Street Animal Hospital, has been serving the North Vancouver community with unwavering dedication since 2008. As a compassionate provider of animal healthcare, he's committed to creating a nurturing environment for his team to deliver exceptional care to their patients and continuously further their veterinary education.
Recognizing the dynamic nature of the medical field, he continually seeks further education that involves veterinary medical, surgical, and diagnostic work to stay at the forefront of veterinary advancements. He had his certification in veterinary surgery from Masey University, New Zealand. He has attended various veterinary education labs, conferences, seminars, and webinars in person and online over the last years since has opened his clinic. It involves certification in a variety of veterinary education including ultrasound courses from the Royal Veterinary College(UK), soft tissue surgeries from various veterinary institutions in the United States, veterinary medical education from online, and various distance educational institutes.
Beyond the walls of Main Street Animal Hospital, Dr. Toor contributes to the community by working with the SPCA in North Vancouver, extending his veterinary expertise to assist with rescue animal challenges. Helping injured cats and dogs is a cause close to his heart and one that brings him joy.
At Main Street Animal Hospital, Dr. Toor and the staff are supervised by his two fun-loving dogs and a cat - Rolly, Corey, and Sufi. Sufi is often jokingly referred to as the true boss of Main Street Animal Hospital. As a pioneering force behind Main Street Animal Hospital, Dr. Toor's passion for animal healthcare, ongoing commitment to learning, and dedication to his team form the heart of our exceptional veterinary services in North Vancouver.
