There are a few great animal hospitals I visited over the years living with dogs and cats. Main Street Animal Hospital is on the top of my list due to them just always find a little extra time to make sure nothing is missed and the pets are not suffering and get well

Dr. Toor is a fabulous vet. He has been quite successful in treating my cat Jasper's chronic Inflammatory Bowel Disease and anorexia over the years and I have been very grateful for all his expertise and genuine concern in looking after my cat's ongoing illnesses. His caring and kindness towards my little boy has meant a lot to me. I would highly recommend Mainstreet Animal Hospital for any cat and dog lovers.

The staff is professional courteous and will go the extra mile to make sure your animal is good. They follow up to see how my pup is doing and the vets take the time to explain everything thoroughly. They are also mindful of cost and will recommend what makes sense, they are not trying to make money with unnecessary procedures, they really helped me and my dog. I recommend this place.

They were very thorough when explaining to me the process of Piper's spay surgery. Called me to let me know when she woke up and how she was doing, and how long they were going to keep her under observation for. And called to see how she was doing the next day. Definitely felt she was in good hands and cared for.

The staff and vet at Mainstreet Animal Hospital are friendly, and very helpful. Dr. Toor is a fabulous veterinarian. He has successfully put together a plan to help manage my male cat Jasper's chronic inflammatory bowel disease, anorexia and urinary issues. Dr. Toor is very knowledgeable about cats. When my little boy initially had a partially blocked urethra from urinary crystals a few years ago, the Vancouver Animal Hospital highly recommended for me to go to the Mainstreet Animal Hospital for ongoing care. I highly recommend for anyone looking for an outstanding vet to go to the Mainstreet Animal Hospital in North Vancouver.

Dr. Toor spent a lot of time with me, explaining how he thinks my pup is doing and offering advice. Our meeting did not feel rushed, and I really appreciate that. The technician, Alicia, was also super friendly and kind, and happy to help and explain details to me. My dog seemed happy and well taken care of when I got him back. I was able to get same day emergency treatment on Saturday for my cat Minnie when her right front foot was very swollen and she would not bear weight on it. Dr. Toor diagnosed an infected puncture wound possibly due to a cat fight bite. He cleaned and flushed the wound and prescribed antibiotics and pain killers. Dr. Toor explained things well and was caring and professional. I received a follow up call on Sunday morning to check on how Minnie was doing and a will have a follow up check up on Monday. I would recommend Main Street Animal Hospital for great pet care.

Dr. Toor was such a nice man, described everything that was going on with our cat in great detail, I could tell he really cared. The rest of the staff was very nice also

Friendly and caring staff. My cat was calm when they returned him after receiving his annual check-up and vaccine. That is saying a lot since my cat is generally very unsettled when I arrive at the vet's office from travelling in the car. The experience was great for both of us!

Dr.Amir and his team were absolutely wonderful with our feisty old girl Luna. She has NEVER had a positive experience at a veterinary clinic prior to this, and I was worried they wouldn't be able to treat her with her past behaviour /aggression issues. Not only were they able to treat her current medical condition, they also got her caught up on other tests and issues that needed to be addressed and come up with a treatment plan to keep her going strong. All of this was done with humour, compassion and warmth. I left feeling like they truly cared about her. I left feeling like I finally had a good overall picture of her health. I would highly recommend Main Street Animal Hospital, even if your senior cat is challenging/aggressive.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Main Street animal hospital , all the staff are so amazing to the public and animals that visit . They are always accommodating and provide all information so you understand the options for the best possible care of your four legged family members .

Excellent service. My cat turned 16 this year and she's having a few issues now with her teeth and joints. Amir was very thorough and kind when going over her health issues and explaining what needed to be done to help her get better.

Dr Toor is so gentle and explains things in a calm manner. Boomer doesn't like going to the vet, but the staff are very kind to him

I find the vet assistant ( in particular Jessie ) to be personable, professional and most of all, kind.... Dr Amir ( and his colleague ) are extremely thorough and I appreciate that as well I came to Main Street Vet because my original vet would not a see my pet ( who was in an an emergency situation ) last year ... although I appreciate the fact that a vet business is a business , I was not impressed with them recommending that I see another vet because they were over booked... that being said, this had been my vet for a few years and I had spent thousands of dollars with them...so I made the decision to find another vet as I must do what is best for my pet family...this practice saw my pet immediately and even though she has now passed on I will forever remember that they saw her right away knowing the gravity of my situation

Dr. Amir and Dr. Toor are very caring vets and went above and beyond our expectations by providing detailed explanations and fantastic follow-up. The staff are also excellent - well informed and provide great customer service.

Got me in quickly and were reassuring and efficient. Dr Toor was wonderful and caring as always and his assistant was excellent as was the person on the front desk.

We took our cat to Dr. Toor for a 2nd opinion. Dr. Toor is a very kind, gracious and knowledgeable vet. He took the time to listen to our concerns about our 17 year old cat. He then explained what the likely issues were and formulated a realistic and thoughtful plan to bring our cat back to normal health for a senior cat. Roughly 24 hours after the appointment, our cat is feeling much better. So far so good.

I take giving a review very seriously. IMy experiences with the Main St Veterinary clinic and each member of the staff has been exemplerary and I have much evidence to support that. #1 it is impressive how much Dr. Toor and his staff listen, clarify, and clarify to ensure all details are in place. Dr. KHosravani, who performed my female dogs altering, was incredible kind, and thorough. He called personally a number of time to ensure everything was going to plan, to answer questions, and provided helpful suggestions. No extras were pushed on me and an evidence-based approach was demonstrated as rationale for each step, procedure or test was fully provided. The front staff is efficient, kind and clear. The Vet Tech Nicole has exceptional skill coupled with a kindness that I have seem my dog drawn too (and she is not that way with many). So glad these professionals chose Veterinary medicine and that we found this trustworthy clinic.

Thank you for your very thorough explanation of all my options and how you suggest we proceed with my sick kitty. I also so appreciate the extra phone calls and follow up as we proceeded with a course of treatment. He is doing so much better and fingers crossed he will be fully recovered in a week or so. If not I know the next steps will be thoughtful.
